As one of the top four most visited cities in Africa and with its potential, Lagos is gearing up to hit the best destination in the world.

This is part of the major focus of this year’s Akwaaba African Travel Market billed to commence on October 31, 2022, at the Eko Hotels and Convention Centre, Lagos. Experts drawn from different sectors of travel and tourism will brainstorm on ‘Can Lagos Become A Global Travel Destination’.

According to the organisers of the event, which is the 18th edition, Lagos has a similar identity as the most visited city of Bangkok in Thailand and should be attracting millions of visitors annually.

The CEO of Wakanow, Bayo Adedeji, noted that Akwaaba resonates with the Wakanow brand.

“Wakanow is all about defining the future in the travel industry, hence the partnership with Akwaaba, opening new doors, fostering and creating ease of travel, and we are proud to be a part of an event that celebrates what we represent as a brand,’ Adedeji said.
